Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
RCIA is an on-going process offered for unbaptized adults that introduces them to God the Father, Jesus Christ his Son, and the Holy Spirit, as well as the liturgical life and teachings of the Catholic Church. Many individuals decide during this time to prepare themselves to receive the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and First Communion.
The RCIA process is also open to baptized Christian adults seeking to better understand the Catholic faith and possibly gain full communion with the Catholic Church.
RCIA classes are held every Monday night at 7pm.
If you are interested in becoming Catholic and/or have questions, please contact Dale Vorwerk.
The St. Cyprian Parish Youth Group welcomes teenagers from any school, faith, and walk of life, between the ages of 13 and 18 (in 7th - 12th grade) to meetings and events designed especially for teens. We offer programs in three areas: Social, Service, and Spiritual. Our social events, such as bowling, game night, sports night, etc., are of course our most beloved events! Our service events consist of opportunities such as picking up litter in our neighborhood or at the beach, visiting aged veterans at the veterans' home, hosting the Lenten Soup Supper, and more. And our spiritual events are woven throughout, in the form of community prayer, short meditations, group discussions, and breaking bread together.
We always welcome new members, and we have found that word of mouth is the best form of advertisement. If you or anyone you know might be interested in joining us, call the church office for more details, or contact Colleen Vandevoorde, Director of Youth Ministry to get more information and to pick up registration forms. We hope to see you amongst our cheerful group!
