COPING WITH THE RECESSION : Information and resources
PARISHIONER OF THE YEAR
Special congratulations to Veronica Yung, who has been chosen by the Parish Council as St. Cyprian Parishioner of the Year 2008!
Veronica Yung was born in Seychelles, where she completed all her studies. She attended the Regina Mundi Convent, graduated from Saint Claire’s HS and did a two year course in Secretarial and Business Studies. Veronica worked for Seychelles Travel Services and Bank of Credit and Commerce and eventually moved to the USA.
Veronica enjoys cooking and entertaining - a talent which she applies successfully to various activities of the school and parish. Veronica serves St. Cyprian School as a volunteer and member of the Auction Committee. She organized the fun-filled Harvest Dinner Dance that we enjoyed last year. She was also instrumental in the construction of the rectory’s patio. She raised money to renovate the rectory's living room and helps at the Over 50s monthly luncheons. Veronica is a devoted wife and dedicated mother. Serving the St. Cyprian community is a family affair for Veronica. Veronica and her husband Hank are active members of our parish and school. Her two daughters: Erin does the scheduling of liturgical ministers and Alyssa is currently a Eucharistic Minister. Soon, daughter Morgan will be joining St Cyprian School in kindergarten. Husband Hank will be baptized into the Catholic Faith on Easter Vigil. We are proud to name Veronica Yung as our Parishioner of the Year in 2008!
